Illustrated by picture book star Helen Oxenbury, this magical make-believe adventure is the perfect bedtime tale for little boys and brave children everywhere. Night is falling, bedtime is looming and playtime is nearly over ...but brave King Jack is more than a match for fearsome dragons and terrible beasties. Peter Bently and Helen Oxenbury weave a tale of such powerful magic that King Jack and the Dragon looks set to become a classic every bit as powerful as We're Going on a Bear Hunt. This wonderful new tale is now reissued in hardy board book format, to be enjoyed again and again by the hardiest little warriors.
